It is not possible to know when a person started to groom his hair. In the early days, long hair was simply hanging down or tied. Then as society develops. People started grooming their hair to make their appearance stand out. The early Goguryeo period can be said to be a transitional period in which the five Goguryeo subtitles were formed from the 1st century BC to the 3rd century AD. The mid-term is the period when the centralized political system was established from about 300 to 400 A.D. to mid 500 to 600 A.D. The latter period can be regarded as a regiment of aristocratic alliances from 500 A.D. to mid 600 A.D. to 668 A.D. The topped hair in the murals of Goguryeo tombs can be divided into two broad categories. At that time, there was a head on top of only his own head. There is a head on his head with a wig added to it, which is called hwangye. The higher the status, the richer and splendid a wig was used to show authority and dignity, and the lower the status, the more she used only her own hair. In Goguryeo's records, women's heads were used with gun-geun (headgear), and they were also called geun-geun, which means a towel used on their heads.
