This study classified the types of non-point sources using UAV images and object-based image analysis for agricultural area in Samga-myeon, Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. UAV images were collected four times in consideration of various periods, and multispectral images and vegetation index were producted as ortho-images. Object-based image analysis utilized multispectral images and vegetation index as basic data. August was the period when crop growth was most active, and the vegetation index was the highest, and October was the lowest. In addition, in August, rice cultivation was the largest with 80% of the total area, but in October after harvest, there were many cultivated fields. As a result of object-based image classification, the boundaries of cultivated land were not clear, but it was possible to grasp the crop status and cultivation status of cultivated land by period. This is expected to be useful in managing non-point pollutants because it is possible to predict the timing of composting on the farmland. In the future, a more precise method of classifying the types of non-point sources is required by supplementing various image data, which will be used as basic data for efficient management of non-point sources in agricultural areas and improvement of water pollution.
