The world is now in a period of new development and transformation, but it is still facing a decline in the development engine of global economic growth. In the past, some high pollution, high energy consumption, and labor-intensive chimney industries have declined. However, cultural creative industries such as cultural industrial regeneration and protection of industrial architecture, which are close to cultural and historical heritage, are becoming new development spaces. For example, Guangzhou had many known companies in the 50s, such as heavy equipment factories, paper factories, boiler factories, and bicycle factories, and recently, how to protect these industrial architectural heritages has become an important challenge for Guangzhou’s urban management as these factory buildings are blocking urban development despite their rich cultural value. Recognizing that the cultural creative industry will be an important focus for the development of the cultural industry in the future, most of the old industrial complexes such as industrial incubator bases, start-up cafes, and cultural arts centers are being remodeled and upgraded, leading Guangzhou to a new cultural creative city. This paper, as the case of Guangzhou, is meaningful in analyzing the status of pioneering the Blue Ocean area through the creation of industrial architectural heritage and finding the Socio-Economic Benefits of Collective Zone of Cultural and Creative Industries through the construction of a cluster of cultural Renewal industries in Guangzhou.
