There are many female characters in <YoossiSamdaerok(유씨삼대록)>. Among them, the character “Princess Jinyang” was portrayed as an ideal figure, taking the center stage in the development of the work. Although she passed away at an early age, she plays a role in supporting the Yoo family as a spiritual pillar and continues to appear in the narrative, influencing both internally and externally. It is to examine Princess Jinyang's aspects in <YoossiSamdaerok (유씨삼대록)> to identify the function and effects of the work that she wanted to capture through her character and to reveal the meaning of it. The purpose is to confirm that Princess Jinyang is characteristic of the elements used in the narrative of <YoossiSamdaerok(유씨삼대록)> and to reveal the effects and functions of these elements in the process of being used. The “Refinement of Discipline” shown in <YoossiSamdaerok(유씨삼대록)> has the effect of covering the negative aspects of the marriage and being used to reach the direction of Jinyang Princess' life. The next “extremeized transcendental ability” to be examined is not just used to reveal Princess Jinyang's heroic side, but rather to deify Princess Jinyang and give her justification to her actions. and It provided the effect of highlighting the existence of an unusual “Jinyang Princess” by including Godliness into all factors that could be used for the transcendent abilities of the character. Finally,<YoossiSamdaerok(유씨삼대록)>providesthe foundation for the late Princess Jinyang to be given the best qualifications by portraying more closely the process of Princess Jinyang's death and placing the memorial figures along with Princess Jinyang's death throughout the narrative. In addition, “Princess Jinyang” not only functions as an epic but also has a significance of existence in that it provides the remaining people with a warning point or a direction of life to pursue and functions as a mirror.
