The purpose of this study is to survey and analyze the differences between boys and girls’ English Learning Motivation clearly. Boys’ English Learning Motivation is much higher than girls’ English Learning Motivation. There are a variety of ways to provoke English Learning Motivation. For example, they are interests, abilities, talents, aptitudes, environmental issues, and teachers’ teaching methods etc. In Elementary School, English Learning Motivation is not appeared between boys and girls. However, it appeared between boys and girls in Middle & High School students. English Learning Motivation is related to students’ interests. The interests of boys are different from the interests of girls. The best way to trigger English Learning Motivation depends on how students put their mind to study English hard themselves. In conclusion, the triggers of English Learning Motivation are various but the most important thing is to study English hard.
