The Tongcheng article is an authentic article in the era of bagu culture, which is closely related to the political culture and ideology of the Qing Dynasty. it produces the "voice" way of narration of Confucianism. At the same time, it is the same as the classical textbook. It is good for the imperial examination to write, but it is higher than the imperial examination. The Tongcheng article has the edge of the social change in modern society because of its clear style. It became the perfect carrier of new learning, and promoted the cultural transformation of the late Qing Dynasty. The doctrine of Confucius and Mencius and Tongcheng articles were abandoned by the 54 new culture movement. It shows the loneliness of Confucianism and the transfer of modern literary aesthetics. It shows that traditional literature is connected to the path of the doctrine of Confucius and Mencius.
