Scientific reasoning ability is necessary as a tool for learners to explain observed phenomena and to understand nature through them. Much research has been done to improve this scientific reasoning ability. The purpose of this study is to explore the performance of neuroscience research to improve scientific reasoning ability. In the neuroscience research, we investigated the literature studying brain activation patterns during scientific inference tasks, and tried to investigate the applicability of scientific reasoning and brain activity to improving students' scientific reasoning ability.
