This study was described to deal with shamanism culture as a base of Korean culture through intertextuality of literature, shamanism and analytical psychology. The subject of analysis is the action of shamanism which reflected in『Daughter of Fire』. Through 'the course entering shamanism and neurosis', the pain of initiation was concerned as process to search for each archetype. In 'dream of shaman and archetype of analytical psychology', the grandmother(grandfather) with white clothes who met them in the dream was represented the image of collective unconsciousness, after all, the image of self-archetype. The paper took note that where the tree possessed by a spirit, the tree climbed by shaman is become the open entrance of the world in 'symbol of tree and island', unconsciousness can relativize the space-time in 'simultaneity phenomenon'. In the '『Daughter of Fire』, the ontological meaning of shamanism' described shaman as who is chasing essence also sacrifice self to protect our culture in the history of adversity through 'ggusiri' and 'baksu'. The study reconfirmed here now, that shamanism phenomenon revealed in ≪Daughter of Fire≫ is eventually not the myth for haven of peace isolated from reality but psychological factor existed in the deep root of unconsciousness. Because the rendezvous with shaman is meeting with our inner spirit, Selbst.
