The objective of this study is to verify the skills recently being selected by gymnasts around the world at uneven bars, by analyzing D-scores, E-Scores, total scores, connection values and skills selected by gymnasts at uneven bars at the qualifying round of the Tokyo Olympics. First, the average scores of the participating teams were 5.816±0.444 (D-score), 8.058±0.449 (E-score), and 13.875±0.775 (total score), and the South Korean team scored less than the average total score. Second, the skills of Group-3.000, where various techniques can be shown at a high bar and a low bar, were the most preferred. Third, two skills, which can earn extra 0.1~0.2 points, were consequentially performed most frequently. Fourth, it was found that the skills of Group-2.000 are not preferred as skills to connect movements because they are not easily applicable. Fifth, among Group-3.000 skills, 3.404 was most preferred because it facilitates transition between movements and various connection moves can be made. Sixth, among skills of Group-4.000, 4.407 and 4.404 were most selected, where flying movements can be linked. Seventh, among skills of Group-5.000, 5.409 and 5.408 were most preferred because various safe linking skills can be performed. Eighth, Group-6.000 are skills used to dismount the bars, and 6.405 was most preferred to earn extra points.
