Objective: In this study, work improvement priorities were presented using the Kano model to improve inefficient work processes at the manufacturing site. In addition, an inventory management improvement study was conducted by combining ABC analysis and target inventory management analysis. Background: Many manufacturing sites are experiencing difficulties such as instability in material supply and demand and increase in lead time caused by passive inventory management. In particular, in the small and medium-sized manufacturing sector, inventory management is not smooth, which negatively affects business performance achievement and company value. Method: The material management quality characteristics were classified by applying the Kano model and Timko’s customer satisfaction coefficient. Furthermore, quality factors with high dissatisfaction coefficients were identified, and improvement tasks were suggested. The detailed classification criteria for material management were prepared, grouped by factor, and ABC analysis was performed, and safety stock and target stock management were presented.
