This study performed research and analysis on characteristics of indoor landscaping elements applied to indoor space in Ward Office of Busan City, for use as basic material for indoor space planning for healthy and pleasant Ward Office. For this purpose, 5 Ward Office built after year 2000 in Busan City were selected as research targets. Indoor landscaping status in Ward Office was researched by photo shots and actual measurement through direct visit to sites. Also, a survey was conducted on users of community service space in Ward Office to analyze the preference on indoor landscaping plan within the Ward Office. Results are as follows: First, 4 elements comprising indoor landscaping plan within the Ward Office were materialized through review on related literature and considerations. Second, according to the result of site study, indoor landscaping in garden style, planter style, tree planting type were installed at most Ward Office and some green wall planting types were installed. This study is meaningful in confirming that indoor landscaping within Ward Office can be actively used so that indoor environment within Ward Office can be created in bright and comfortable image breaking out of simple and stiff image, as the research on users’ preference on indoor plan.
