Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the applicability to Ai device in field of communication disorder. Methods: The participants were 2 child who diagnosis stuttering and articulation disorder. Author was storytelling in the way Spoken-languages and AI device, patients were restorytelling. It was transcribed to syllable and compared according to method and turn of storytelling. The story were ‘three pigs’ and ‘rabbit and turtle’. The story was presented in only one way per session and took a total of 4 sessions. The AI device used in the research was ‘Kakao mini’ and music streaming app was ‘Melon’. Results: The amount of restorytelling-syllables was more Spoken-languages (3 out of 4) than Ai device and in the second (3 out of 4) than in the first. Conclusions: The results show that restorytelling-syllables is more in human versus human than human versus Ai device. This may be due to the effect of sound. Children seemed to like AI by sound effect such background music, onomatopoeia. On the other hand, author is able to use the voice more efficiently. AI have useful potential in field of communication disorder and it is necessary to develop customized applications that consider the characteristics of communication disorders.
