The increase in traffic accidents due to declining cognitive and physical abilities of older drivers is becoming a serious social problem. For this reason, a policy on voluntary return of the driver's license is in operation, but a more objective evaluation method is needed. The present study aims to implement a driving environment and scenario of driving simulation that can evaluate the driver's visual behavior with respect to static and dynamic visual stimuli that occur in various driving situations. Driving simulation scenarios used for analyzing driving characteristics of older drivers were collected from the existing studies, and driving environments and scenarios were reclassified through text network analysis according to static and dynamic visual stimuli. Furthermore, similar types of scenarios were merged into driving environments with more frequent occurrences and various target stimuli existing. As a result, driving simulation contents consisting of a total of 12 scenarios in controlled intersection, uncontrolled intersection, two-lane highway, and four-lane highway were implemented. Static visual stimuli composed of stalled cars, traffic lights and signs, and dynamic visual stimuli such as moving cars and jaywalking pedestrians are presented, and the driver's visual behavior is evaluated through quantitative measurement of visual detection, visual perception, and visuomotor function. The method of scenario design proposed in this study is a new approach for implement driving simulation contents, and it is expected that it can be used as basic data for establishing a driving ability test environment according to visual stimuli.
