The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning of the modern Chinese phrase ‘N1+zhao+N2+V2’ and the current status of education, and to suggest effective educational methods. In modern Chinese, ‘找’ is used as a verb meaning ‘to find’ in many cases, but there are cases where it appears as a relatively special function in ‘N1+zhao+N2+V2’. However, since learners of Chinese as a foreign language perceive ‘zhao' to mean 'find', it is not easy to grasp the meaning of this construction. As a result of the review in this study, in the ‘N1+zhao+N2+V2’ construction, ‘zhao’ has a function to draw out the target point of a action, a function to draw a participant in the action, and a function to draw out the actor of the action. The ‘N1+zhao+N2+V2’ construction should not be taught with ‘zhao’ alone, but the meaning of the construction must be taught. In addition, since a construction meaning may have different meanings depending on the context in which it appears, it must be educated in consideration of the context.
