As modern technology and culture develop, research and attempts are being made for a higher quality of life beyond basic food, clothing, and shelter. In terms of interior, high quality of life comes from dailiness, and we thought it was connected to amenity. Since amenity appears differently depending on the relationship between space and sunlight, it was intended to analyze their relationship through various theories as a study on maintaining dailiness. Measurements were made in the dormitory of some university, a space with clear distinction according to direction. The measured values were analyzed based on the theory of feng shui, the ASHRAE thermal sensory scale comfort study, and the KS illumination standard, which are theories that are common from before the development of modern technology to the present. There were no major unexpected change in the analysis results, and the results were organized into optimal orientation and supplementation according to the similarity between the measurement and the standard and the width of the change in the measurement value according to the difference in measurement time. When quantifying and analyzing the amenity conditions that determine the improvement of the quality of life and analyzing them through logical theory, it seems necessary to prepare follow-up studies and measures on comfort in order to lead a more pleasant life.
