The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationships between dance enthusiasm, dance self-confidence, and dance performance achievement among Chinese dance majors and to identify the mediating effect of dance self-confidence on the relationship between dance enthusiasm and dance performance achievement. Therefore, a sample of college students majoring in dance in Guangxi, Sichuan, and other provinces of China was selected to conduct the research, and 513 valid sample data were used for analysis. The data analysis in this study used exploratory factor analysis, validity and reliability analysis, correlation and mediation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. Based on the above-mentioned research procedures and data analysis results, this study draws the following conclusions
First, it was found that Chinese dance majors" dance enthusiasm influenced their dance self-confidence. Second, it was found that Chinese dance majors" dance self-confidence had a significant positive effect on their dance ability achievement. Third, dance enthusiasm of Chinese dance majors has a significant effect on dance ability achievement. Fourth, extrinsic self-confidence and intrinsic self-confidence mediate the relationship between dance enthusiasm and dance ability achievement among Chinese dance majors.
