This paper targets bathrooms, which are significant spaces for safety accidents in houses, for the purpose of establishing visual information data in the residential field for safe space use, and proposes BIM-based modeling and visual information construction and utilization. In order to cope with changes in the elderly’s physical characteristics and aging, a mapping system for each object was presented, and detailed bathroom components and visualization image data were established. It is necessary to present an appropriate solution for the elderly residential space where accidents occur a lot according to the increasing number of elderly populations, and to this end, necessary safety facilities were investigated according to the aging characteristics of the elderly based on previous research papers. The surveyed safety facilities were classified based on physical characteristics, expected effects, and installation areas to establish a mapping system, and 20 safety bathroom facility BIM objects that make up the space were collected. Based on the classified mapping system, safety bathroom space modeling based on body characteristics was conducted, and images similar to real space were extracted by rendering the modeled space. Through the progress of this paper, general users can collect information on safety bathrooms suitable for their physical characteristics, and various types of safety bathroom extraction images can be used as data in subsequent studies and can be expected to be widely used.
