This study was to analyze the effects of resistance on cardiovascular function and arterial stiffness in obese women. Subjects were divided into 10 obese experimental groups and 10 control groups. Body fat and weight were measured using In body 720, and cardiovascular function variables were measured using Physioflow, such as heart rate, stroke volume, cardiac output, and mean arterial pressure. As for arterial stiffness variables, pulse wave velocity(PWC) and pulse wave augmentation index(AIx) were measured and analyzed using SphygmoCor Xcel. As a result, in the case of cardiovascular function variables, there was no significant change in the control group by exercise treatment period compared to the experimental group by variable. By treatment period, the experimental group showed a decrease in heart rate(-9.13%), stroke volume(5.61%), and an increase in cardiac output(12.5%), systolic blood pressure(-6.35%), and diastolic blood pressure(-7.00%). %) and mean arterial pressure(-6.60%) showed a significant decrease. In the case of the arterial stiffness variable, there was no significant change in the control group by exercise treatment period compared to the experimental group for each variable. Looking at the significant reduction in PWC(-10.9%) and AIx(-3.78%) of the experimental group by treatment period, obese women had a cascading phenomenon in which arterial stiffness was reduced through significant changes in cardiovascular variables, resulting in long-term low weight, The effects of cardiovascular function adapted to resistance exercise and changes in arterial vascular function were observed. Therefore, in order to relieve women"s obesity, improve cardiovascular function, and relieve arterial stiffness, we would like to suggest a resistance exercise program with a low-weight, high-repetition concept.
