After returning home from official duties in the seventh year of Qianlong's reign, officials and scholars came in an endless stream, including Yengišan, the governor of Jiangnan, Yin Huiyi, the academic administrator of Jiangsu Province, Li Xueyu, the administrative envoy of Anhui Province, and Wang Maohong, Quan Zuwang, Liu Shishu, Cheng Tingzuo, etc. As Quan Zuwang said, "To the south of the Yangtze River, people have become more and more mature recently. With the hope of art and literature, the public and Linchuan are dead. Although they are high in Jiangxiang, they are still the hope of the world." Among them, "Linchuan" is Li Fu, and Gong is Fang Bao. Yuan Mei, a later scholar of Jinling, also said, "In ancient Chinese literature, there is a Fangwang River, and in poetry, there is Ruan Ting, both of which are authentic of the same generation."
