본 연구의 목적은 발달장애인의 근로현황을 파악하고, 발달장애인의 근무환경과 직무능력에 대한 부모, 활동보조인, 취업담당관의 인식에 차이가 있는지 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 취업 중인 발달장애인의 부모, 활동보조인, 취업담당관 182명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 분석을 위하여 신뢰도 분석, 기술통계 분석 및 변량분석을 시행하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 취업한 발달장애인은 지적장애인 비율이 높았으며, 근로형태는 계약직, 회사유형은 표준⋅보호작업장, 근로시간은 주당 11시간∼20시간, 월 급여는 50만원 미만이 제일 많았고, 희망급여는 50∼100만원 미만을 가장 선호하였다. 둘째, 부모, 활동보조인, 취업담당관은 발달장애인의 근무환경 중 ‘급여수준’, ‘비장애인과 동등대우’, ‘휴식시간 및 시설’에서 유의미한 인식 차이를 보였으며, 부모의 만족도가 가장 낮았으며, 취업담당관의 만족도가 가장 높았다. 셋째, 부모, 활동보조인, 취업담당관은 발달장애인의 직무능력 중 사회성 변인인 ‘도움요청능력’에서 유의미한 인식 차이를 보였으며, 부모가 자녀의 ‘도움요청능력’을 가장 낮게 보았으며, 취업담당관이 가장 높게 보았다. 본 연구의 의의는 발달장애인의 취업환경에 대한 근로현황을 조사할 수 있었으며, 발달장애인의 취업 관련 변인에 대한 부모, 활동보조인, 취업담당관의 관점에서 인식 차이가 있음을 확인하였다는 것이다.
The purpose of this study is to identify the employment status of people with developmental disabilities and to find out if there are differences in the perceptions of parents, assistants, and employment officers about the working environment and job skills of people with developmental disabilities. To this end, a survey was conducted targeting 182 parents, activity assistants, and employment officers of persons with developmental disabilities who were employed. For analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, and analysis of variance were performed. As a result of the study, first, the percentage of people with intellectual disabilities in employment was high, and the type of work was contract work, the type of company was standard and sheltered work, the working hours were 11 to 20 hours per week, and the monthly wage was less than 500,000 won. The most preferred salary was between 500,000 won and less than 1 million won. Second, parents, assistants, and employment officers showed significant differences in perception in ‘salary level’, ‘equal treatment with non-disabled people’, and ‘rest time and facilities’ among the working environments of persons with developmental disabilities, and parents’ satisfaction was the lowest. and the satisfaction level of the employment officers was high. Third, parents, activity assistants, and employment officers showed significant differences in perception in the social variable “help request ability” among job skills of people with developmental disabilities, parents saw the lowest child’s ‘help request ability’, and employment officer saw the highest. The significance of this study is that it was possible to investigate the working status of the employment environment of people with developmental disabilities, and it was confirmed that there was a difference in perception of employment-related variables of people with developmental disabilities from the perspectives of parents, assistants, and employment officers.
