Stroke, a representative senile disease, causes functional disorders such as sensation, perception, cognition, language, and exercise, and 70%-75% of them cause chronic physical dysfunction as an aftereffect. Even in exercise disorders, upper extremity function damage is the most common aftereffect, and continuous rehabilitation exercises are required within a short period. This study developed an upper extremity exercise rehabilitation treatment device using mechanical driving. A device performing finger and wrist rotation and extension exercises using mechanical driving was developed. A 2D design of the device was constructed using the AutoCAD program, and 3D shape modeling was performed using the CATIA program. In addition, the structural parts were improved, and elbow rehabilitation exercise functions were added. A structural analysis was conducted using ANSYS to evaluate the safety of the designed product. Material settings for each part and mesh grid were generated, and analysis was performed after defining the boundary conditions. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the product would withstand a sufficient load, and the deformation that appeared at this time would not pose a problem with the use of the product. Finally, a prototype was manufactured to determine the assembly and operability of the product. As a result of the prototyping, the assembly and operation were performed smoothly.
