In power electronics applications, magnetic components have a significant impact on the power density and efficiency of the system. The accurate measurement of core loss is essential for the optimization of magnetic components. This paper proposes a simple differential method for measuring core loss under sinusoidal excitation, which is accurate and easy to apply. The method has been analyzed theoretically and validated through experiments.
