Happiness is a goal of individual life. The aim of this work is to examine the determinants of happiness in case of women. As the explained variable, this study uses happiness. Also, this research adopts subjective health, leisure satisfaction, and eating-out expense as explanatory attributes. For the data collection, this research employs Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families. The study period is 2018 and 2020. Plus, the number of observation is 18,774. To test hypotheses, this work performed multiple regression analysis to minimize bias in the analysis of panel data. The instruments are ordinary least square, fixed effect, and random effect models. The results showed that happiness is positively affected by both subjective health and leisure satisfaction. The results also disclosed the inverted-U shape relationship between eating-out expense and happiness. The results of this work shed light on the literature by presenting the outcomes which allows the characteristics of women’s happiness to understand more. Moreover, this work is to present the policy implications.
