As mentioned above, in this article, compared and analyzed double negative sentences in Korean and Thai. For this purpose, divides the structure of double negative sentences in Korean and Thai into syntactic negation and lexical negation, which are the classification methods of double negative sentences in Korean, and the correspondence between double negative sentences in Korean and Thai is compared with semantically equivalent double negative sentences in Thai. It was analyzed as follows. The correspondence of syntactic double negative sentences in Korean and Thai is as follows.First, it can be seen that the Korean double negative ‘~지 않다’ corresponds to the Thai double negative ‘ไม่ใช่(ว่า)’. This can be said that the negative elements led by the dependent noun ‘~지’ in Korean correspond to sentences in Thai double negative sentences, which are connected to the complementizer ‘ว่า’. Second, the Korean double negative ‘못’ can be seen to be equivalent to ‘ไม่ได้’ in Thai due to the semantic characteristics of ‘possibility, ability’ of the vocabulary. Third, the Korean double negative ‘~마라’ is corresponded to ‘อย่า~’ in Thai due to the semantic characteristics of ‘prohibition’. The correspondence between lexical double negative sentences in Korean and Thai is as follows. First, it can be seen that the Korean lexical double negative sentences ‘~아니다’, ‘~없다, and ‘~모르다’ correspond to ‘ไม่ใช่’, ‘ไม่มี’, and ‘ไม่รู้’ respectively in Thai double negative sentences. This can be said to indicate that the words used in lexical double negative sentences in Korean correspond to corresponding words in Thai that have semantic similarity. Second, it can be seen that the other negative element ‘~않다, ~이 아니다’, which constitutes a lexical double negative, corresponds to ‘ไม่ใช่(ว่า)’ in Thai double negative sentences. As also stated in the verb double negative sentence, the negative elements led by ‘~아니다’, ‘~없다’, and ‘~모르다’ correspond to sentences in Thai double negative sentences, and it can be said that they are connected to the complementizer ‘ว่า’. Third, ‘~리가 없다’ that appears in a lexical double negative in Korean is corresponded to the idiom ‘ไม่มีทางที่’ in Thai
