The purpose of this study is to predict the effect on
the patterns of color scheme and the characteristics
of dominant colors by the experiment for the evaluation
construct analysis of the exterior color in apartment
house.
It is carried out by the evaluation method of color
simulation with the color image processor. And the
result of this experimental evaluation is analyzed
quantitatively by HAYASI I program.
The results of this analysis are as follows;
1) In that case of the pattern color scheme, it is
mainly related to [dynamic], [stable], [orderly] image.
2) In the characteristic of dominant colors, the hue
and value of dominant colors effect on the image of
apart-ment exterior color. The hue of dominant colors
mainly effect on [warm], [gorgeous], [intense] image,
and the value of dominant colors effect on [bright],
[stable], [befitting], [chic] image.
These results will be studied with those coming next
experiment, the harmonies of color scheme for establishing
the standard colors and providing the practical guide for
color planning in apartment exteriors.
