Recently, the advanced technology in internet and communication has been leading the dramatic change of transaction paradigm in financial finns Therefore, most of them support and provide their customers' with banking, stock trading and insurance services by internet. These services are called e-Finance.
The objective of this research is to find the success factors of e-Finance from Korean financial companies. To achieve the purpose of this study, we first reviewed the existing literatures about the success factors of internet business, venture business and internet finance by other researchers. Through the above literature review, we pulled out some variances to analyze the success factors of e-Finance.
Secondly, to catch the success factors of e-Finance, we used web-based survey systems, e-mail survey and on-line questionaries. The replies of 57 companies were used as the target group for the final analysis. We also analyzed the factors that would affect the success of e-Finance in these finns. Four factors that are critical on e-Finance success were classified: (1) customer relationship management efforts (2) publicity and promotion efforts, (3) support from the inside of organization, (4) comparative advantage of development and operation capacity.
In conclusion, an analysis of the data provides managerial implications for e-Finance in the futures. We analyzed main type of e-Finance services and tried to find effective plan on success of e-Finance.
