The article of Nihonshoki Zinguki's 49th year is well known to us. It says Wa(倭)’ queen Zingukogo(神功皇后) conquered Samhan(三韓) area of Koean pennisular and ruled these area since then. The majority of Korean researchers regard this article as Backjae's military action. This paper aims to investigate the value of the 49th year' article.
First of all, It is difficult to judge the contents of Nihonshoki Zinguki show the reality of historical affairs. And the life period of Mokrageunja (木羅斤資) cannot be thought as the middle part of 4th century.
The names of Kara 7 countries, conquered by Mokrageunja, reflect the state of 6th century. Bijabol, Taksun, Tak, Namkara were annexed by Silla until the first half of 6th century, and Kara, Anra, Dara maintained their independence until the same period. Backjae was eager to annex these countries. Otherwise, Kimun, Daesa, Jata, Samul, already annexed by Backjae, were not referred. Futhermore, the area of Youngsan River was not the territory of Backjae until the 6th century.
For the controversial character of Zinguki 49th year's article, we must be more careful to admit Backjae conquer Kara 7 countries and the area of Youngsan River.
