The paper is to contemplate the principle characteristics of writing background of Jang Man-Young's Poetry by inductive method.
And, his principle characteristics were explicated by establishing warm and cold senses.
Topography of anthology of『Festival』is concerned with the death of a woman. Permanent absence of a woman has been reflecting his remembrance, and it produces yearning, longing and losing emotions.
And, this poetic characteristics Jang Man-Young's works is not limited to『Festival』, but most of his works including his earlier two anthologies.
His poetry wrote in serials based on potential main stream of his life. This implies that his works are more concerned with background and circumstances than individuality of poem.
Another characteristic of Jang Man-Young's works is the predominancy of senses among complicate images. And the mixed senses of warm and cold play a significant role of increase in poetic effectiveness.
