In the 1920s, all art fields of the Russia received social change and political change. Architecture is one of field that receive most such change and effect. Means of expression shows the Avant-Garde's characters of dynamic characters, experiment characters, pure characters and humorous characters, etc. Then architects form the several organizations and expressed ideology. And architects were contributed greatly in innovative architecture development.
It is the representative organization which used much influences having different objective among them. As this organization, one is ASNOVA (the Association of New Architects) that bases in rationalism. And the other is OSA (the Union of Comtemporary Architects) that bases in Constructivism. These have ideology which is formalism for art and functionalism for life each. They emphasized the importance of new technology through their a research and an experiment, interchange.
ASNOVA and OSA have formal specific characters of architecture. Its characters analyzed and compared to expression method of component of Avant-Garde's characters for architectural works. The result is following. First, rationalists didn't concerned politically and socially. Their architecture characters composed ASNOVA by way of piece to tendency in period. And they also composed space sensation and form sensation in architecture. This seeks to esthetics characters through knowledge visual sensibility. Second, Constructivism through OSA had mainly building structure for monument and agitative-advertisement at early. They expressed dynamic characters by composition of geometrical elements.
