This paper contains a consideration from various angles about a folk-song typed narration in "ShinHan-Minbo" published by Koreans living in America in the early twenthieth century.
The folk-song typed narration of Korea is characterized by the strenthen creativity [originality], and the sadness of homesickness and an image of the wishful future, also the certification of national identity and an emotioal sympathy.
These "ShinHan-Minbo" folk-song narrations provided the new basis and features of a poem formative process by the right interpretation and understanding of that time's domestic distorted national discourse. Also, It directly showed the fact and good example that a folk song contributed the overcome of a mannerism lasted in poem long time and a thesis of a new verse[poetic] form.
