This study is to investigate the changes of physical fitness of obese students as they were performed abdominal centered exercise and detraining for 4weeks separately.
The results of this study were as following:
In muscle strengthen tests, the test of left grip strength and back strength had significant differences. In the case of left grip strengthen test, the level of pre exercise was significantly stronger than that of post exercise and the value of post detraining for 4weeks was significantly higher than that of post exercise for 4weeks. In the test of back strength, the levels of post exercise and detraining for 4weeks were significantly higher than that of pre exercise.
Side steps test had significant difference, which is the values of post exercise and detraining for 4weeks were significantly higher than that of pre exercise.
The levels of sit-up of post exercise and detraining for 4weeks were significantly higher than that of pre exercise.
In the test of flexibility, that contained trunk extension and sit & reach test, both tests had significant differences. In the test of trunk extension, the value of post exercise and detraining for 4weeks were significantly higher than that of pre exercise. In the test of sit & reach, just the level of post exercise was significantly higher than that of pre exercise.
In the balance test, right balance had only significant difference, the value of post detraining for 4weeks was significantly longer than that of pre exercise.
