This study aims at study mutual influence of poet and visual art especially movie.
Literature, particularly, poet has the characteristic connecting the cultural materials like image and visual arts. Visual arts(Video, T.V, Movie) also broaden their sphere of expression by adopting poetic feature.
So I studied mutual influence 1930-1950's poems and techniques of movie. The result of this study, 1930-1950's poems(etc. Park Mok-wol, Baek Seok, Kim Ki-rim, Cho Hyang's works) has the techniques of movie like camera eye, zoom, montage, shot, discontinuous continuity etc.
Movie emerged as a core of cultural materials during roughly the late 1980s to the early 1990s. The masses does not think through poems but through movie. Movie became a part of our life.
So in this era of movie, many young poets indulged into movie watching and making new expressions. But they did not swallow everything the movie uncritically. They are addicts and critics about imagination that a screen gives. They know difference between real world and a screen. And they make clear falsity and truth to the masses.
So I think that the future of mutual influence of poet and movie is very rosy.
