This essay is written still now about korea war which do not solve a problem of war. Eventually, every a war literature turns towards a anti-war. It is not as like a war in the middle of battle fields. But It is only presents in process war at once disappears. Later a war, literature on war present tragedy of war. This essay focus on during war period creating war poems. How to do think about the relation of war and literature. To put in order this relation, literature is included by a war. A war encroach powerfully all culture. The most savage a war eats literature figure to fall weapon poem.
War poem written in Korean war period is said Jong-Gun-Poem. This term is that poet who participates in war writes on war's experience and fighting sprit for winning war. Therefore war poem is similar as like a weapon. As if a soldier participates a war to have a weapon, war poet writing war poem purpose on winner later war. The goal of war poem is clear and accurate.
Let's do think about the function and role of a war poem. The first, it gives soldiers to bravery during war time, and They are not afraid of the death in battle to fight militant stand. Exactly, a war poem is different from another literature works. Especially, a war poem is needed on a war time, and it's literary feature is an another issue. It is completed in nationalism of one side direction. It is not different the adminstration policy. A war literature is reflected the government measure. Different from another countries, korean government supports the writer following the army.
The second, process to conduct war is necessary justification about a war. Soldier oneself seek to the center in the middle of battle field. A War collection of poem send the battle line to soldier to reading book. soldiers are a mental armament to read war poem. A Role of a war poem is relation to mental situation. The third, at the civilian a war collection of poem is war news. Many people is doubt their husband, father, son how to do fight on battle line. Of course everything person do not know personal news. But this news communicate a symbolic meaning to general person.
For 1950-1953 war time, form to start a war to end it, war poem was read by soldiers. Mostly war poem emphasis to peace only south korea. Because of north korea provoking a war, It is always proper that south korea' countermove is right. And war works contained to regard north korea as a absolute robber. All most war work do not include korean war is proxy war. Simply two views only have on a war that south korea is a good people. This period writers became to much more soldier than professional poet. Although special poet go to a war area, the work is not different according to writer. All war purpose is same.
