Recently growth rate of high-technology and internet industry is higher than that of heavy industry and commodity by 3 to 5 times worldwide. The actual plan of acknowledgebased industry development is set up and executed in many countries.
The purpose of this paper is to present strategies of acknowledge-based industry promotion and to propose policy for it in Kyonggi province. To support acknowledgebased industry, major strategies focus on formation of double-ring industrial belt around Seoul and inter-city technology industry networks. Also regulation of industrial location and control of academy foundation in capital region must be removed. Actual programs are suggested as follows : to construct Kyonggi science and technique networks, to design special industrial districts in large cities, to develop industrial-residential complexes.
