The present study aims to find out the influence of stress factors of security agents upon the way of dealing with stress and the intention of job transfer. The purpose of the study is also to prevent possible loss of security agency from work stress and job transfer. The study analyzed the causal relation among stress factors, the way of dealing with stress and the intention of job transfer, which will offer fundamental data base for constant prosperity in the field of security agency.
A survey was conducted in the study. A total of 100 security agents who are working in a private security agency in Seoul were selected by cluster random sampling. Among them, 7 participants were eliminated since they failed to answer to some questions. Therefore, a total of 93 security agents participated in the study. Multiple Analysis was run for the study and factor analysis and Cronbach's a were performed for the reliability and the validity. The statistic result of the study revealed that there was .42~.911 in factor analysis and -.8325~.8754 in reliability analysis.
The conclusion of the study from the result of data output analysis with the method mentioned above are as follows; First, with the respect that the factor of stress of security agent affects the way of dealing with stress, ego stress has a negative effect on positive way of dealing with stress and recreational way of dealing with stress. Second, in the aspect that the factor of security agent's stress affects the intention of job transfer, dissatisfaction with work influences the intrusion upon privacy, aggravation in personal relationships and restrictions on promotion. Third, the ego stress of security agent has an indirect effect on the aggravation in personal relationships by positive way of dealing with stress
It can be inferred from the conclusion that security agents have a strong tendency to take the negative way of dealing with stress. Consequently, more advanced ways of dealing with stress is in a great need for the security agency in the dimension of company management.
In addition, the result of the relation between the cause of the security agent's stress and the intention of job transfer revealed that factors have a positive co-relation with the dissatisfaction at work. Especially, of all the stress factors, the stress at work affects the job transfer due to the intrusion upon privacy, the dissatisfaction with work, aggravation in personal relationships, restriction on promotion. Accordingly, the stress at work and discontent with job appeared to be a main factor to affect the security agents' intention to transfer their jobs.
Therefore, all the stress factors should be eliminated in order to enfeeble the intention of job transfer and induce life-long devotion to their organization. Furthermore, sound and proper ways of coping with stress should be internalized in security agent mind.
