The Purpose of this study is to propose policy directions for residental level improvement of residents in Public rental housing and efficient management of public rental housing. In this study, the contents coverage was limited to the policy proposal on the efficient management of public rental housing by reviewing literatures, understanding present situations of supply and management of public rental housing and investigating residental conditions.
Considering characteristic of public rental housing, not only but also aspect policies in social welfare aspect as well as physical aspect should be necessary.
First, the Public Rental Housing policy should be pursued consistently. Second, increasing participation of residents in public rental housing management is needed. Third, to strengthen the capacity of public housing residents, a variety of programs should be provided. Fourth, the policies should be promoted to improve the residental satisfaction of public housing residents.
