The purpose of this paper is to compare the children’s literature in between Korea and China at the Proletarian period to identify the similarities and dissimilarities of children’s literature between the two countries.
The Proletarian children’s literature in Korea began from ‘the Children Movement’ and ‘the Children’s literary Movement’ while the Proletarian children’s literature in China began from the publish of the The Children Populace Magazine. They both wanted to teach the Proletarian notion to the children.
Three dissimilarities of the two countries’ Proletarian children’s literature can be found between the two countries. Firstly, the those who legged the Proletarian children’s literature of Korea were young writers. They did not have any experience and fall in the Formalism. While those who legged the Proletarian children’s literature in China were Literary masters. They had many experiences and putted forward for the united front of Paragraph.
Secondly, those who legged the Proletarian children’s literature in Korea can not accept the Foreign children’s literature theory. While those who legged the Proletarian children’s literature in China accepted the Foreign children’s literature theory.
Finally, those who legged the Proletarian children’s literature in Korea did not deny Fairy tales but eulogize Children’s novel. So many Children’s novel are written in Korea but the Fairy tales are very less. While in China, those who legged the Proletarian children’s literature of Korean put forward for both Fairy tales and Children’s novel. Both the Fairy tales and eulogize the Children’s novel are written.
