The purpose of this study was to evaluated the effects of body compositions, heart rate, blood pressure and blood flow velocity markers of right common carotid artery after Yoga and resistance training in middle-aged women. Thirty-seven women aged between 35-50years were randomly assigned to an Yoga (n=12), resistance exercise (n=13) and compared group (n=12). Asana Yoga and resistance training programs was done three times per week for 8 weeks, and time of exercise was 60 minutes. Results of in this study, there was a significant differences on body weight and body fat between the groups after 8 weeks. Systolic and diastolic blood pressure decreased a progressive after Yoga and resistance exercise training, systolic blood pressure was a significant differences between the groups. There was a significant differences on resting heart rate between the groups after 8 weeks. BVmax and BVmin were a lower the progressively a period of Yoga and resistance training, there was a significant differences between the groups. And there was no significant differences on BFRI between the groups. But HRRI was significant differences between the groups. Moreover, As a results indicate that I would consider the use of Yoga and resistance training reduce the blood pressure response and to improved the blood flow velocity markers encountered in day-to-day activities by healthy middle aged women.
