The purpose of this study was to analyze objectively secondary school students` level of differential perception of their physical education teachers` behavior in physical education class. The results of this study were as follow; 1. Female students` differential perception level was higher than that of male students considering their overall differential perception of physical education teachers` behavior. The level of differential perception was affected differently when considering students` places of residence. Students living in big cities had higher differential perception than that of students living in medium and small sized cities. 2. There were statistical differences among gender, school location and place of residence in the level of differential perception of physical teachers` behavior, and the third graders` level of differential perception of teacher`s negative feedback and teacher direction was much higher than that of first and second graders. 3. Female students` level of differential perception of work and rule orientation was somewhat higher than that of male students. Differential perception among third grade students was also high in contrast with first and second graders. In case of school location, industrial school students` differential perception was higher than that of resident district or district with research complex. 4. Almost all variables were more than 15 points about teachers` high expectation, opportunity and choice type. There were no specific differences among variables. Considering an overall statistical observation, a meaningful difference was found among the school location variables.
