The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the degree of participation and the degree of satisfaction on the service in cycle racing. The degree of participation was measured by cycle racing customers` participation frequency, participation period, and participation strength. And the satisfaction on the service was classified by facility and management. For accomplishing this purpose of the study, the cycle racing participants aged over 19 as used of 2002 at the Jamshil cycle racing velodrome and 12 off-track betting offices were set to the population. Then total 390 subjects were collected by stratified random sampling method. The survey method was used in this study. The contents of the questionnaire were referred to the previous researches of Lee, byung-chan(1998) and Lee, hyun-keun et. al.(2000), and were revised after testing the validity and reliability of the contents. From the analysis of the study, the following conclusions were obtained. First, the degree of satisfaction on the service in facility was differed by the degree of participation at the cycle racing. The lower the participation frequency, the shorter the participation period, and the weaker the participation strength, the higher satisfaction on the service in facility. Second, the degree of satisfaction on the service in management was also differed by the degree of participation at the cycle racing. The results were same as that of the service in facility. The lower the participation frequency, the shorter the participation period, and the weaker the participation strength, the higher satisfaction on the service in management.
