From 1980s Business relations in China and around the world have been expanding day by day, Business Chinese is also increasing attention from Teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Accordingly, Chinese Assessments have also been required to equip the diversity and professionalism. BCT is conducted by Practical Chinese testing in 2006 began with the goal to improve the practicality and communication ability. Since then based on the results of the study on business Chinese and international language exam to meet in the workplace BCT is reorganized the existing BCT format, New BCT has been conducted since 2013.
This study analyzed for old and new BCT to investigate the Chinese business assessment more consistent with the actual, the following results were obtained.
First, Old and new BCT is featured listening , reading, speaking, writing to evaluate evenly. Second, BCT that is (A) and (B) in two types of problems Carried out by dividing the advanced stage of the beginner stage that is expected to increase the validity of the evaluation results. Third, old BCT showed a difference of test format and configuration Unlike conventional language test, new BCT is a tendency that differentiation decreased. It is necessary to make various test format that is well-fused language function of Listening, Reading, Talking, Writing. Fourth, New BCT is presented information that the test include greetings·polite ,usual communication , exchanging business information and business Chinese such as the negotiation. But we need to watch how much more can be reflected in the actual tests.
This study is expected to help to assess Chinese business the more reasonable and reliable test. Later, analysing type of CBT questions, researching utilizing function of business Chinese, researching validity, reliability of BCT is the task to be continued.
