The purpose of this study is to present a plan for organizational management by proposing the necessity of hotel employees’ leisure to a hotel manager through the empirical analysis of the influence of a hotel employee’s leisure motivation on leisure satisfaction and emotional life satisfaction. To this end, this study conducted a survey targeting the employees working for five-star hotels located in Seoul and Busan from January 10 until February 20, 2017, and conducted confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis using 312 copies of questionnaires to the exclusion of 38 copies, in which there existed a large number of missing values, or which replied unfaithfully out of the 350 questionnaires in total. As a result of this study, first, leisure motivation was found to have a partially significant influence on leisure satisfaction, and second, leisure satisfaction was found to have a partially significant influence on emotional life satisfaction. The implications from this study are that first, employees’ participation in leisure activity serves to meet leisure activity results by maintaining health & exchanges with others and developing ability, or by mastering or experiencing a new facility, etc. Second, the implications show that employees’ emotional life satisfaction could greatly change depending on howmuch they can have qualitative experience of environmental factors, i.e. clean, pleasant environment and convenient facilities through leisure activity. Third, a hotel enterprise is supposed to encourage its employees to do leisure activity aggressively by organizing a club and hobby groups, etc. in a hotel enterprise, and it might be also a good way for a hotel enterprise to encourage its employees to do a new leisure activity, or to meet with a new experience with their family.
