This study aims to understand tour behavior of outbound tourists who visit the Asian region and analyzes selection factors of tour destination by segmental markets. The subject was selected by surveying tourists who visit Asian countries(Japan, China, South-east Asia), and we presume the effect of tour motives and tour behaviors to choose tour destination. First of all, the study has found five types of tour motives; satisfying curiosity, pursuing excitement, self-display, a getaway and the pursuit of sociality. And the analyzing results by segmental markets are as follows. First, in the case of tourists who visit China, it has been shown that they usually have tour motives of "The pursuit of sociality" with high age, high literacy level and professional occupations. Second, in the case of tourists who visit South-east Asia, it has been shown that they are influenced by gender distinction, occupation, tour behavior(package) and tour motives of "pursuing excitement" and "A getaway" to choose their tour destination. Third, it has been shown that the key factors for tourists, who choose Japan as their tour destination, are literacy level, occupation, and tour behavior (Individual Tour).
