The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the kinematics according to proficiency in standing start operation to improve sprints records. The conclusion is sa follows. First, the expert’s time required for standing start operation according to proficiency level, was shorter than that of non-expert. There was a statistically significant difference between P1, P2 and total time spent (p <.05). Second, the expert’s COM(center of mass) horizontal position of the standing start operation according to the proficiency level, was longer than that of the non-expert, and showed a significant difference in E1 and E4 (p <.05). And COM vertical position was higher in the non-expert than in the expert, and was significantly different between E2 and E3 (p <.05). Third, the expert’s COM horizontal speed was faster in all events than the non-experienced (p <.05). And the COM vertical velocity was significantly different between E2 and E4 (p <.05). Fourth, the expert’s standing start operation stride according to the rating, showed a significant difference. It was the longest in all segments compared to that of the non-expert (p <.05). Fifth, the angle of the right hip joint was significantly different between the E3 and E4 (p< .05) and the E3 on the left (p< .05). Sixth, the angles of the right and left knee joints according to the proficiency level during the standing start operation were significantly different in E2, E3 and E4 (p <.05). Seventh, the angle of the right ankle joint according to the proficiency level showed a significant difference in E3 during the standing start operation (p< .05), and the angle of the left ankle joint did not show any significant difference. Eighth, the angle of trunk tilt was small in E1 and E2, and showed a significant difference (p <.05).
