This study analyzed the satisfaction and importance of the service quality provided by the organizer of exhibitions. As for the analysis method, the degree of importance was derived from the overall satisfaction of participating in the exhibition, and the priorities of improvement factors were selected through the modified IPA matrix. Through this, it is possible to provide high quality service quality for the pursuit of the performance of the participating companies by efficiently utilizing the limited resources, which can have a positive effect on the satisfaction of participating in the exhibition and the intention to participate again.
As a result of Revised-IPA, the factors that show high level of both the importance and satisfaction are the security system, the facilities of communication, the promotional activities in inducement of participating companies, accessibility of public transportation. As a result, it is desirable to maintain continuous efforts on these factors as a result of the high level of satisfaction and importance with the participating companies. The high level of satisfaction with the low level of importance, factors need to maintain the status quo which are support activities like fire safety system, room display and accessibility of the exhibition items in the exhibition hall and internal-external access. While the participants do not seem to care about the importance of participation, the need to inject additional resources into these areas is relatively low. In other words, current efforts are unnecessary.
