In this study, Chinese characters have been major difficulties in learning Chinese when beginner Chinese learners learn the Chinese language, and also with a note that one of the main causes is the difference in form in the aspect of Chinese education, we attempt to examine the difference between Chinese and Korean forms in China and Korea, focusing on radicals. In this study, we first briefly explored the origin, characteristics, and importance of simplified characters, and selected a total of 130 Chinese characters for 1800 common Chinese characters of Korea, which are not related to radical letter of orthographic character and simplified letter form. We then classified the modified radicals of the simplified character according to the type of radical change, the cause of radical change, and the type of radical as Jabu, and investigated the characteristics. As a result, contrary to the traditional Chinese character type, the modern Chinese character has a decrease in the logical validity as a character along with the relative increase in the number of symbols in terms of composition elements. However, the importance of Chinese character education has been attracting attention as the communication through the SNS and Internet has become frequent in recent years, and therefore, helping learners to recognize and use Chinese character accurately became an important part of the Chinese language education. For Chinese character education if we can utilize the changed characteristics of radicals after the simplification explored in the discussion, it can help learners to understand sound and meaning of Chinese characters and grasp the structure of Chinese character form.
