The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between perception of opportunity inequality, jobsearching self-efficacy and career-preparation behavior focused on college students majoring in cosmetology. The results show that perception of opportunity inequality in college students majoring in cosmetology influenced negatively on job-searching self-efficacy. Second, perception of opportunity inequality in college students majoring in cosmetology influenced not significantly on career-preparation behavior. Third, job-searching self-efficacy in college students majoring in cosmetology influenced positively on career-preparation behavior. Therefore, in order for beautybased college students to be able to carry out effective career preparation behaviors, it is necessary to seek ways to minimize the negative effects that may arise from the perception of opportunity inequality. And It is necessary to simultaneously engage in interventions that can enhance self-efficacy such as job-seeking efficacy in career-related programs, education, or career counseling.
