Purposes of this study were to develop an analysis model to evaluate science-gifted education programs and to find out whether teaching/learning materials used at the science-gifted centers are appropriate for educating science-gifted students. The analysis model was consisted of 4 factors; 'the goals of learning', 'the learning environments', 'the learning activities', and 'the results of learning and feedback'. Education program of 5 science-gifted centers was analyzed in terms of the frameworks of the analysis model. The results of the analysis showed that the level of content knowledge was higher than that of high school. Learning activities were mostly closed inquiry type, and required students' convergent thinking rather than divergent thinking. These problematic features were obvious in the inquiry activities in which the level of content knowledge was high. Implications of the study were discussed.
