The aims of this study were two as follows; The first was to develop the evolution teaching program composed of CPS strategies and subject contents for improving the science gifted students' creative problem solving ability. The second was to investigate the effect of that program. For this, the subject contents of the evolution biology were analyzed historically, and the selected main subjects and concepts were arranged with 5 levels of biology concept system, which are macroscopic level, population level, organismic level, cellular level, and molecular level. The teaching program was composed of the instructional contents extracted from evolution history and the instructional procedures based on CPS stages, and the creative thinking strategy along with the contents-specific historical strategies. The teaching program was applied to 11th grade students who were included in the highest 10 percent group on biology scores' rank. The participated students' opinions were collected after the class. As a result, the students' scientific creativity and evolution concepts were significantly improved after the class.
