The purpose of this study is to examine a variety of design features of unisex young casual wear, centering around their domestic brands and then to clarify a fashion tendency during a certain period of time. The young fashion of the new generation featuring new sense and feeling resulting from their growth with social and cultural change has an effect on the whole range of fashion. This study was carried out by generally considering the trend of unisex young casual wear through marketplace-researching their domestic brands and new generation's inferior culture to examine the design features of the unisex young casual wear on Korea's fashion market, by classifying these young casual brands according to the difference in their design, and then by dividing and analysing these design features in accordance with silhouettes, colors and materials. In addition, a number of fashion magazines and fashion sites of Internet also were searched to examine the brands of unisex young casual wear for the '99 F/W and '00 S/S. The design features resulted from the marketplace-research on the brands of unisex young casual wears are summarized as follows.(중략)
